Keep your files together
Local processing · ZIPCreate mode accepts files. Extract mode accepts one ZIP archive. Use Choose a folder to preserve folder paths.
Add up to 500 files, 50 MiB per file and 100 MiB total. Existing selections stay when you add more files. Empty folders are not added by folder selection.

ZIP up to 100 MiB, 500 entries and 100 MiB expanded total. Stored and Deflate compression are supported. Encrypted, ZIP64, split archives and symbolic links are not supported.
This list reads the archive directory. Selected file contents and CRC-32 checksums are verified during extraction.

Ready to download
Extracted files download individually, using the filename from their archive path. Browser downloads do not recreate folder paths.
Create a ZIP archive
- Add files or select a folder. Folder selection keeps relative paths. Edit a path or remove an item in the file list if needed.
- Choose a filename and compression level. Store only avoids compression; photos, videos and other compressed formats may not get much smaller.
- Create the ZIP and download it. Original files are never changed. File dates in created archives use a fixed 1980 timestamp.
Open and extract a ZIP
- Switch to Open and extract a ZIP, select an archive, then list its contents.
- Search paths and select the files you need. Select visible files applies to the current search; hidden selections remain selected until cleared.
- Extract the selected files. Each selected file must pass size and CRC-32 checks before any downloads are offered. Download each file from the results.
Extract only the files you intend to download
Searching the archive filters the visible list; it does not clear selections hidden by a new search. Select visible files adds to the current selection rather than replacing it.
- Open your own supported ZIP and choose List contents. Review paths and file sizes before selecting anything.
- Choose Clear selection, search for the intended path or filename, then choose Select visible files. Check the total selected count, not just the currently visible rows.
- If you change the search, remember previously selected files can still be selected. Clear selection again when starting a different extraction subset.
- Extract selected files. Review each offered download and its source-path label; extraction offers individual files using base filenames, not an automatically restored directory tree on disk.
- Keep the archive until the needed downloads have been reviewed. Listing contents alone does not verify file data; extraction checks CRC-32, which is not a malware or authenticity check.
For creation, Choose a folder preserves relative paths, while edited archive paths must remain valid and unique. If the package mostly contains compressed photos or video, a stronger ZIP level may save little. Use Compress Image first only when changing those image files is appropriate.
Authored extraction/packaging workflow, not a supplied archive or verification result. Encrypted ZIP and ZIP64 remain unsupported. Downloading files here does not execute or preview them.
Limits and supported archives
Classic ZIP with Stored or Deflate compression is supported. Maximums are 100 MiB for the ZIP/input total, 100 MiB expanded total, 50 MiB per file and 500 entries. An incompressible archive near the limit can exceed the output limit because ZIP headers add bytes. Very large or slow operations stop after 60 seconds.
Encrypted ZIPs, ZIP64, multi-volume archives, RAR, 7z and symbolic links are outside this tool's scope. Unsafe paths, duplicate names, case-insensitive collisions and file/folder conflicts are rejected. Non-UTF-8 ZIP names use CP437 unless a valid Unicode path field is present.
The tool does not execute or preview extracted files. CRC-32 detects accidental corruption; it does not establish authenticity or scan for malware. Archives and extracted contents remain in memory until cleared or the page closes. No files are uploaded or stored in browser storage.
Frequently asked questions
Will this modify my original files?
No. Creation and extraction produce separate browser downloads.
Can I open a password-protected ZIP?
Encrypted ZIP formats are not supported. The local file encryption tool creates its own encrypted format; it does not decrypt encrypted ZIPs.
Why does a created ZIP barely shrink?
JPEGs, many PDFs, video and other compressed files often have little room for further compression. ZIP still keeps them together in one download.
Are folders preserved?
ZIP creation preserves folder-relative paths and edited archive paths. Extracted files are offered as individual downloads using their base filenames. Empty folders are listed but do not have file downloads.
Continue your workflow
Package files or inspect an archive without executing it
Choose creation or extraction and inspect the supported file list before downloading. Retain originals until you have reviewed the archive output.
Scope of this workflow
Encrypted ZIP, ZIP64 and other archive families are outside the source scope. CRC-32 is not a malware or authenticity check, and extracted files are not executed here.
