Pages removed
0 pagesFiles are processed in this browser. Supporting libraries, workers and optional OCR models load from third-party CDNs. Files must be non-empty and no larger than 50 MB. Keep the original: editing can invalidate digital signatures, and rebuilding pages may not preserve forms, bookmarks or document metadata.
When to use Remove Pages from PDF Online
Remove unrelated pages from a submission copy. Check both the remaining content and its order before sharing.
How to use this tool
- Open a supported unencrypted PDF and review its page count.
- Select unwanted pages or enter the page range to remove. Leave at least one page.
- Apply removal, download the copy and check every remaining page.
Choose what to remove or what to keep
The removal and keep fields express the same final selection in opposite ways. Editing one replaces the current removal selection and clears the other field; they are not two independent filters to combine.
| Input approach | Enter | Expected remaining source pages |
|---|---|---|
| Remove pages | 1,4,7 | 2, 3, 5, 6 |
| Keep pages | 2-3,5-6 | 2, 3, 5, 6 |
- Identify the unwanted pages by source position. Check thumbnails for content, not just apparent blankness.
- Choose one input approach. After any shortcut or field edit, inspect which thumbnails are marked for removal and check the remaining-page count.
- Leave at least one page, review the filename and optional watermark, then create the copy.
- Open the result and confirm both its four-page count in this example and its actual content. Surviving pages retain their relative order.
This is an authored selection plan, not a processed PDF. Removing whole pages does not redact information on retained pages or alter your original. For multiple separate section files, use Split PDF; for changing the order of retained pages, continue with Reorder Pages.
Output and limits
Removing a page is different from hiding part of a retained page. Rebuilding can affect bookmarks, forms, metadata and signatures.
Frequently asked questions
Can I remove every page?
No. At least one page must remain in the output.
Does this redact part of a page?
No. It removes complete pages. Use a separately verified redaction workflow for partial-page removal.
