PPTX Presentation Editor Online

Build your story, one slide at a time.

Edit positioned slide text, rich formatting, basic shapes and embedded images locally; download a new PPTX with supported visual content.

Phase 3 preserves supported text, basic shapes, solid colors, positions, and embedded PNG/JPEG images. Fonts and wrapping can differ. Charts, SmartArt, equations, notes, comments, animation, media playback, advanced effects and master/layout decorations are omitted. Tables become text boxes; image cropping and group rotations/flips are not preserved. Keep the original deck.

Checking for a saved draft… Autosave is off.

One draft in IndexedDB for this browser/origin, including unfinished object fields and supported images. Off on every load and workspace replacement. Pause keeps the last draft; Delete removes it. No cloud sync or cross-tab merging; last completed save wins. Closing the browser can interrupt saving—download a PPTX backup.

How to edit a PPTX presentation online

Edit supported slide text, basic shapes, positions and embedded images, then download a new presentation. This is a bounded slide editor, with a preview that approximates supported content. It does not reproduce the complete PowerPoint rendering engine.

  1. Open your deck. Choose a macro-free .pptx file up to 10 MiB, try the sample or start a blank deck. Keep a copy of the original presentation.
  2. Select a slide and object. Navigate the slide list and select an object from the preview or object list. Use the text outline when reading slide content.
  3. Make the edit. Update text, supported character formatting, alignment, object position or size. Add a rectangle, rounded rectangle, ellipse or embedded PNG/JPEG slide image.
  4. Organize the presentation. Add, duplicate, reorder or delete slides. Use replacement previews for repeated text changes and Undo/Redo when needed.
  5. Download your work. Export the edited PPTX or a complete text outline. Download unchanged source when you need the original package.
  6. Review the destination layout. Open the new deck in PowerPoint or LibreOffice and look for text overflow, changed wrapping and omitted features.

Example: revise a short slide deck

Open a simple presentation, update a title and move a supporting text box. Insert a PNG image, adjust its size and duplicate a slide for the next point. Download the edited deck and review how the destination application lays out the text.

Revise a title and choose the right presentation download

For a small deck revision, distinguish the editable result from an untouched source package and a text-only review copy.

  1. Choose Try sample and select the first slide, titled Ideas worth sharing. This is the editor's authored sample, not a supplied customer presentation.
  2. Select its title text object, change the text to Release review and apply the object changes. Inspect its position and wrapping in the slide preview.
  3. Duplicate the slide for a second point. Review the slide order and edit the duplicate's title so the two slides have distinct purposes.
  4. Download edited PPTX and open it in PowerPoint or LibreOffice. Check wrapping, overflow and slide order there before presenting. No completed deck is supplied for this exercise.

Unchanged sourceKeeping the originally imported packageContains none of your edits. Sample and new decks have no source file.

An outline is useful for wording review, but visual sign-off needs the edited PPTX in its destination application. Imported charts, notes, animations and master decorations remain outside this editor's supported model. Keep the original deck whenever those features matter.

What slide exports preserve

The supported model includes positioned text with basic formatting and lists, solid fills and borders, basic shapes, PNG/JPEG images, slide size and background colors. Fonts and wrapping can differ. Export rebuilds a new deck from supported objects; it is not an unchanged copy of the original presentation.

Charts, SmartArt, equations, notes, comments, animation, media playback, advanced effects and master/layout decorations are omitted. Tables become text boxes. Image cropping and group rotations/flips are not preserved. Older PPT, PPTM, encrypted and ZIP64 packages are unsupported.

Local recovery and size limits

Optional autosave stores one draft in this browser after you enable it. It is not cloud collaboration or cross-tab merging, and browser cleanup can erase it. Download a backup before leaving. Limits include 200 slides, 100 objects per slide and 2,000 objects per deck, with up to 50 PNG/JPEG assets, 4 MiB each and 8 MiB total. Available memory can impose smaller practical limits.

PPTX editor frequently asked questions

What does this editor support?

Positioned text with font, size, bold, italic, underline, color, paragraph alignment and basic lists; rectangles, rounded rectangles, ellipses, solid fills and borders; embedded PNG/JPEG images; slide size and background colors. The viewer and editor use the same supported visual model. This editor adds search and keyboard improvements, replacement previews and opt-in local recovery.

What is not preserved?

This editor preserves supported text, basic shapes, solid colors, positions, and embedded PNG/JPEG images. Fonts and wrapping can differ. Charts, SmartArt, equations, notes, comments, animation, media playback, advanced effects and master/layout decorations are omitted. Tables become text boxes; image cropping and group rotations/flips are not preserved. Keep the original deck.

Are my files uploaded?

Processing stays in your browser. Optional local recovery stores one draft on this device only after enabling autosave. It is not uploaded or synced; pause retains it until deleted.

What will downloads contain?

The editor creates a new PPTX from supported visual objects, not a modified copy of the original package. The text outline includes every slide. Download source preserves the original bytes. Check newly exported decks in PowerPoint or LibreOffice, especially for overflow and missing features.

What are the limits?

10 MiB input/output, 64 MiB expanded ZIP content, 200 slides, 100 objects per slide and 2,000 per deck, 50,000 characters per text object and 1,000,000 per deck. Up to 50 PNG/JPEG assets, 4 MiB each, 8 MiB and 32 megapixels total. Older PPT, PPTM, encrypted and ZIP64 files are unsupported.
